• Welcome to Anybody’s Barn

What is Anybody’s Barn?

Anybody’s Barn offers simple self-catering group accommodation for courses and workshops. It is situated on the northern ridge of the Malvern Hills, with beautiful panoramic views over the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Anybody’s Barn can accommodate up to 20 people and is suitable for:

  • Retreats
  • Courses
  • Meetings
  • Art workshops
  • Movement sessions
  • Educational uses
  • Social Service groups

Who are we?

We are a charitable company whose aim is to make Anybody’s Barn available for groups on limited funding or who might not ordinarily have an opportunity to stay in such a beautiful and quiet rural situation. Income from accommodation and workshop bookings helps us offer free and subsidised activities.

Anybody’s Barn is owned by and located within Birchwood Hall Community, a housing cooperative with eight acres of gardens, orchards, and woodland. The community is made up of 18 people who live together and maintain the estate. More information is here.

The Barn was converted from derelict out-buildings in the 1980s. It is located on the northern ridge of the Malvern Hills, with direct access to the Worcestershire Way and a Nature Reserve within walking distance.
